Rebecca Hardin, President & CEO of Thrive Advisors has over 18 years of experience within the retail, food and hospitality industry. Learning her trade of licensing by working hands-on within the industry both as a multi-unit restaurant owner/operator and advisor in all things liquor and cannabis.
Additionally, Rebecca is well-versed in commercial real estate services. Providing a personal and collaborative approach to each and every one of her clients.
Since 2003, she has experience in all forms of hospitality work; from the frontlines, to license procurement, to operations management and strategy, and everything in between. Rebecca’s one-of-a-kind mix of skills make her an invaluable resource to liquor and cannabis focused businesses in BC, Alberta and the US.
Shannon is the President and CEO of The Walker Group and WhistleBlower Security. WhistleBlower provides ethics and compliance hotlines and case management software to organizations globally.
Shannon is currently the Chair of the Ambleside Dundarave Business Improvement Association and has volunteered on the West Vancouver Memorial Library Board Foundation, the West Vancouver Community Centre Services Society (now Enhance West Van), the Ambleside Town Centre Working Committee, the Coho Festival, and has co-chaired PumpkinFest and the West Vancouver Library Croquet Tournament – both of which raised tens of thousands of dollars for West Vancouver.
Shannon also worked as a member of Council in the District of West Vancouver from 2008-2011. The Walker Family has owned and managed Walker Place, a commercial building in the heart of Ambleside with strong retail tenants on Bellevue, since the 1980s. Shannon and her husband live in Ambleside with their two daughters who attend high school in West Vancouver.
Scott Walker the managing Director of the Walker Group of Companies as well as the Founder of Bounce Service Plan Division. Over the past 30 years, Scott has led New Product and Business Development at the Walker Group for its Automotive and Consumer Solutions divisions. During this time, he led the development and implementation of numerous innovative value-added products services for retailers and manufacturers throughout North America.
In the community, Scott served on the Board of the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and participated in events coordination with the West Vancouver Memorial Library Foundation. Scott is a father of two.
